Pedrali for FORESTA M9

Pedrali for FORESTA M9

The furnishings of the Italian company selected for an installation symbolising rebirth at M9 – Museum of the 20th Century in Venice

Pedrali products become part of “Foresta M9. A landscape of ideas, community and future”, a one-of-a-kind art installation that will be on display until the 6th of June 2021 on the third floor of M9 – Museum of the 20th Century in Venice. Curated by Luca Molinari and Claudio Bertorelli, this temporary exhibition was conceived as both an oasis of peace and, at the same time, a symbol of rebirth for M9 Museum.

A temporary forest populated by approximately 600 tree essences and 180 trees. An emotional and essential place, an evocative landscape assuring a unique sensorial and cultural experience.

Foresta M9 bears witness to the great care that the Republic of Venice always paId to the safeguard of the environment and underlines the strict relationship between Veneto and its woodlands.

With this installation, the museum also inaugurates the “green semester”, a series of initiatives in which the themes of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for the Environment will be explored, workshops and initiatives for children and young people will be organised, with tours and readings dedicated to trees, coming to the inauguration of the first satellite exhibition dedicated to the great trees of Italian history.

Foresta M9 is fitted with chaise longue and tables from the Nolita collection by Pedrali.
Designed by CMP Design, Nolita is a collection of outdoor seating and tables which recalls the origins of a historic course started by Mario Pedrali in 1963 with his first metal garden chairs. Thanks to its summery and joyful character, Nolita offers convivial and relaxing moments within this wooded landscape, contributing to the atmosphere of this major cultural event.

By taking part to this installation, Pedrali continues to support and enhance the value of initiatives and events promoted within museums and exhibitions of value #Pedrali4art.
